How we do it

Our Mission

Our mission is to support local churches, homeschool groups, and other non-profit organizations by providing live sound, lighting, and video presentation services. We exist to empower groups that may lack the equipment, technical expertise, or funding needed to host meaningful events—such as prayer walks, concerts in the park, fundraising events, and weddings for individuals and families facing financial hardship.

Nevaeh Events was founded in response to a critical need during the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the past few years, we have continued to serve and strengthen our local community.

Past Projects

Take a look at some of the projects we’ve completed in the past. Below is a selection of our work, highlighting the scope, design approach, and technical details behind each project. These examples reflect our experience delivering reliable, well-planned audio, video, lighting, and IT solutions tailored to the unique needs of each organization.

May 2022

Church Two42 - Build

I led and executed the complete technical buildout for Church Two42, overseeing all aspects of technology including audio, lighting, presentation, networking, and security systems. The installation featured a PreSonus StudioLive 32 digital console with stage box, providing full FOH and stage audio control.

Lighting was implemented using DMX-controlled fixtures powered by Chauvet ShowXPress hardware and software, enabling flexible and programmable lighting scenes for worship services and events. A 14’ x 6’ LED video wall was installed in the main sanctuary, along with distributed TVs throughout the facility to support live and overflow viewing.

All presentation and video processing was centralized through a Mac Studio, feeding a central video splitter that distributed content to every room in the building. This allowed live services to be broadcast not only to the main sanctuary but also to all auxiliary spaces, enabling every ministry to observe and participate in the primary service in real time.

Audio was routed to the sanctuary, distributed to TVs throughout the building, and fed through amplifiers to support lobby and exterior sound coverage. The church’s IT infrastructure was designed and deployed with full building-wide internet access, segmented into multiple VLANs to securely support the needs of different ministries and operational teams.

Additionally, a remote-access security camera system was installed throughout the facility, allowing for continuous monitoring of the building. This project was completed under an aggressive one-month timeline, requiring careful planning, coordination, and execution across multiple technical disciplines. Despite the scope and complexity, the installation was delivered on schedule and fully operational.

April 2023

Church Two42 - Upgrade

Following the initial installation, a major audio and facility expansion was completed at Church Two42. The existing PreSonus StudioLive 32 console and stage box were replaced with an Allen & Heath SQ-2 digital console paired with AR2412 and AR84 stage boxes. This upgrade delivered noticeably improved sound clarity and a more intuitive mixing environment, significantly simplifying training for volunteers and operators.

One of the key advantages of the SQ platform was its enhanced user management and security features. These tools allow the primary church to protect critical system settings while enabling a rental church to operate the console confidently without risk of altering core configurations.

In addition to the audio upgrade, a second multi-purpose room was constructed and equipped with dedicated sound, lighting, and an LED video wall. This space was intentionally designed with a more analog-focused signal flow, allowing guest users and visiting groups to operate the room with minimal training while still maintaining professional production quality.

The project also included the addition of four PTZ cameras, significantly enhancing the church’s online experience. This phase of the project expanded Church Two42’s technical capabilities while improving usability, system protection, and flexibility for both internal ministries and external partners.

Light of the Valley - Build

We completed a full technology design and installation for Light of the Valley Church in Van Nuys, CA, supporting their move into a new facility located in a strip mall with drop ceilings. The scope of work included a complete audio and video presentation system tailored to the size and layout of the space.

A compact rear sound booth was constructed to house a PreSonus StudioLive 32 digital console along with the primary presentation computer. The stage area was equipped with a streamlined production setup, including LED light bars for front lighting and two 60-inch displays for video and lyric presentation.

To maximize audio performance and minimize analog signal loss, we installed a PreSonus NSB 16.8 AVB network stage box on stage, fully leveraging the digital capabilities of the console. For sound reinforcement, two pairs of PreSonus Eris 3.5BT studio monitors were mounted near the ceiling and angled toward the audience. One pair was positioned near the stage and the second pair midway back toward the sound booth.

This distributed speaker design allowed the room to be evenly filled with clear, intelligible audio without the need to overdrive the front seating area—an ideal solution for a smaller worship space with low ceilings.

Sept 2024

Church Two42 - Family Park Day

Our team had the pleasure of providing sound and lighting production for Family Park Day, a live outdoor event featuring a full worship band and complete stage setup. The audio system was built around a Behringer X32 digital console paired with an S16 stage box, allowing for efficient stage connectivity and flexible mixing.

Front-of-house sound was delivered using two Alto TS315 speakers as the main PA, supported by two Alto TS310 speakers used as throw speakers to ensure even coverage throughout the event space. Low-end reinforcement was provided by Alto T312S subwoofers, adding depth and impact to the band mix.

Stage lighting consisted of 16 U’King DMX-controlled fixtures, strategically placed to fully cover the stage and provide dynamic color and visual enhancement for the performance. For video content and lyrics, ProPresenter was run from a laptop and fed into a vendor-supplied LED wall, ensuring clear and professional visual presentation.

Family Park Day was a smaller-scale service but delivered a powerful and engaging night of worship, supported by a thoughtfully designed and well-executed production setup.

Feb 2025

Calvary Montclair - Upgrade

Nevaeh Events recently completed a major production upgrade for Calvary Montclair, replacing their legacy camera system with three PTZ cameras, a dedicated PTZ controller, and a new Blackmagic ATEM Mini. We also integrated a Behringer digital audio processor to enhance and clean up the live stream audio feed. This addition allows for precise audio processing as well as real-time monitoring of the live stream audio directly from the production desk. Together, these upgrades significantly improved both audio and video clarity, delivering a higher-quality and more engaging online viewing experience.

March 2025

Assure Pregnancy Clinc - Prayer Walk

Nevaeh Events provided the sound reinforcement for this event, utilizing a Behringer X32 mixer paired with Alto TS310 speakers. The band setup was well-suited for the occasion, featuring two vocalists, an acoustic guitar, and a cajón, delivering a clean and balanced live sound throughout the performance.

Nov 2025

Love Life 40 Week - Prayer Walk

Nevaeh Events provided full sound reinforcement for this event, utilizing an Allen & Heath SQ7 console paired with QSC K12.2 speakers. The band for the event featured three vocalists, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, violin, and cajón. In addition to the musical performances, multiple speakers took the stage to share and discuss their ministries, all supported with clear and consistent audio throughout the program.

Jan 2026

Calvary Montclair - Upgrade

Nevaeh Events recently completed a sound system upgrade at Calvary Montclair. The outdated X18 Air mixer was replaced with a Behringer X32 Rack, paired with an S32 stage box. The stage box was securely mounted in an 8U server rack alongside a Furman power conditioner and two drawers (2U and 3U) for organized cable storage.

This new setup eliminated the need for a large analog snake on stage, resulting in a much cleaner and more efficient workflow for both the sound and worship teams. The upgrade also added much-needed inputs and outputs to better support the band’s requirements. Additionally, musicians now have the ability to control their own monitor and in-ear mixes using the MX-Q app.

Overall, the system delivers noticeably clearer audio, and the live stream mix has been significantly improved as well.
